"Nanhe Sipahi" : I Pledge Initiative
Suryoday School has helped provide nearly 55 children from underprivileged backgrounds with education and beyond. But, this quality of education comes at a cost. It takes over Rs 7,500 per month to provide quality education to a child, but with the nominal fee of Rs. 1,500 per month, the remaining gap of around Rs. 6,000 needs to be bridged through donations.
Introducing “Nanhe Sipahi” I PLEDGE – An Initiative for Bridging the Gap for these Underprivileged children studying in Suryoday School.
Furniture & Equipments
We are in continuous need of furniture and equipment needed for working with children with intellectual disabilities at Suryoday School. In terms of furniture, we need desks, benches, tables, book shelves, storage cupboards, etc. Equipments for children with intellectual disabilities include fidgets, wiggle seats, therapy balls, therapy bands, highlighter strips/reader trackers, sand, rice, timers, visuals, high interest – low level reading books, technology tools, etc…
Classrooms Construction
Students need a place to execute the daily physical activities needed to have their physical and academic needs met. Our greatest vision is to give students the chance to reach their highest potential and, therefore, a place for physical activities is absolutely necessary. Help us provide our students with new classrooms! The money will be used for the construction of a new classroom.
New School Building
We need donations for the construction of the school infrastructure for children with intellectual disabilities. The approximate cost of the construction project is around Rs. 1.50 crores. You can help support the project by donating any amount, no matter how big or small the donation is.
